It’s also naturally anti-bacterial and will soften over time. Pure linen fabrics will have ‘slubs’, these imperfections are signs it’s made from true linen fibres and not a polyester mix.

It is recommended to select a non-biological detergent containing no optical whiteners, bleaching agents or enzymes that can cause colours to fade or become patchy and can also damage fabrics.
All natural fibres will shrink a bit when washed. However, washing our cotton fabrics at excessively hot temperatures will cause more shrinkage than usual. Wash dark colours separately. Leaving this item on warm hot plate lids for prolonged period of times may result in scorching.
